Some more good music. This time found thanks to the De-Fi Radio Podcast. Check out http://www.paulwarnermusic.com – he sounds a bit like John Mayer. Paul has his entire album available in MP3 format for free download.

I google everything
At the time I write this, there are only 150 hits (on Google of course) for the phrase “I Google Everything”. Hey Google! How about some bumper stickers and/or T-shirts that say this? If you do it, can I get one of each free for thinking of it? Email me for my mailing address.
What self-respecting geek doesn’t google everything? Three real examples from today: Want to find out what that icon is/does on your cell phone display? Google it. What’s the wattage of your microwave? Google it. How does a DOMParser handle CDATA? Google it.
Audiograbber – freeware cd ripper
Need a quick and easy way to rip CDs to Mp3 on Windows? Try Audiograbber. be sure and also get the LAME DLL with it (link on the download page). AG rips to MP3 and will look up the CD online so the tags are filled out correctly. FREEWARE! Another one to try is CDEx though I don’t like the interface in CDEx as much.
Doo Doo Def Show
I like some good hip-hop/rap. I found this podcast thanks to podcastoutlaws.com. It’s the Doo Doo Def Show. Not only do these guys play some great underground hip-hop, the three hosts are FUNNY! From their site:
“giving emerging hip-hop artists a chance to shoot us their music and get a review from three old, bitter, jaded hip-hop heads (Terntabl Reka, Poor Devil, & Pete Nasty) who know how hard the grind is.”

Andrew Bird – Nervous Tic
My new favorite song (not counting Steve Burns’ Mighty Little Man) is now Andrew Bird’s Nervous Tic (thanks 3Hive.com). Grab the MP3 here:
A Nervous Tic Motion of the Head to the Left [MP3, 4.5MB, 128kbps]
(the song totally changes 54 seconds in – listen at least past that)
