RSSDigest takes any RSS feed and makes a simple list out of it for use on a site. It can do it as Javascript, HTML (iframe), or PHP. It even lets you customize how it will look. It’s really easy to use and no programming is required. I am using it for the “Latest Cool Links” and the “Free Legal Music” sections in the bottom right column. Both of them are coming from my delicious links. The best part is that it is free – all they ask is that you link back to the RSSDigest site. Done.
UPDATE: RSSDigest has become FeedDigest

geeksmakemehot.com – I just love the domain name.
limecat.net – This made the rounds via email a while back but it’s still funny enough to repost in case you haven’t seen it
The podcast novel Earthcore is winding down. Just a few more chapters and it’s done. What? You haven’t heard of Earthcore? it’s a cool sci-fi/action audiobook being released for free as a podcast. Don’t fret that you missed any of it, just drop by the Earthcore site and you can download the whole book (up til now) for free and catch up. It’s a really good book and the author is doing an excellent job of reading it. The book reminds me a lot of The Relic by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child – lots of action, suspense, some creepy creatures, and a bit of horror thrown in.
Here is a great post at Lost Garden. It’s called “Confessions of a horrible game player“. He has some great ideas that developers should incorporate into games. If you haven’t read it before, Lost Garden is an “ongoing game design document written as a blog”. He is designing and building a game called SpaceCrack and documenting it in his blog. He used to work for Epic Megagames and worked on the shooter Tyrian so he knows what he is doing and it shows. He’s an excellent and interesting writer – well worth reading if you are a gamer. I have him linked in the sidebar.
