So, I have heard all the buzz over Firefly and finally decided to watch it. I have watched the first three episodes and I am just not overly impressed. It’s not bad, it’s just not great like I thought it would be. I guess I’m spoiled by Battlestar Glactica – I heard the buzz about that too and watched the first season way after it had been aired. Balttlestar is fan-freakin-tastic and I’m all caught up now. With the lack of good SciFi shows on TV, I’ll definitely finish watching the first season and I’ll be interested to see how the new Serenity movie turns out.

I watched the first 3 when I first got a hand on the series…I didn’t watch another for a loooooooong time. Finally, my friends forced me to try watching it again and I was hooked after that. The series is great, the movie is oh-so-sweet!

You know, it was around episode 4 or 5 that I got officially hooked. I got interested after seeing the movie trailer. I’ve since been to one of the screenings of the soon to be released Serenity. I don’t think there is a sci-fi show that’s ever been on TV that I liked more than Firefly. Though I still have not watched any of the new Battlestar Galactica series (yes I am ashamed).

Ohmigod – you MUST watch Battlestar. Best thing I have seen on TV since Punky Brewster :). I actually “stumbled upon” an MP3 of the “Last Chance To See” audiobook and was intrigued by it but I haven’t yet read it. I have it on my TOREAD list though.
