I bought a used white Nintendo DS Lite a while back so I could play games with my daughter. I got a really good deal on it but it was white – not the coolest looking DSL. So, I bought a clear replacement shell from DealExtreme and just installed it today. Took me about 3 hours and was a major pain in the arse (though now that I have done one, I bet I could do a second MUCH quicker and easier). The result is a really great looking DS Lite. Sweet.

One year of Teenormous and $425K in sales
Today is the one yar anniversary of Teenormous. We wrote up a long blog post detailing lots of numbers for the year (traffic, pageviews, $$$) here:

It has been successful beyond what we could ever have hoped for in the first year.
I started exercising
I haven’t exercised in ages so it was time to start back. I started running this week and also started the one hundred pushups program. Running sucks. I did buy nice running shoes though (Saucony). I think I may start the 200 sit-up program next week too.

Creeper World – new PC and Mac game
A friend of mine just released his new game, Creeper World for the Mac and PC. He worked on another game a while back that was simple yet loads of fun. I’m expecting this one to be the same. I’m off to go give it a try now. From the FAQ: “Creeper World is a unique and fresh look at RTS, defense, puzzle, physics, and management based games.”
UPDATE: Ok, I must admit, Creeper World is fun. I just played through the first three levels and enjoyed it and I am NOT a strategy game fan. I will be playing the rest of the levels.
