So, we went to the 2005 NC State Fair this past week – what fun! Here is a food vendor we happened upon:

Shark Kabobs and Gator Kabobs….YUM! I was with you for all the rest – even crabcake burgers, but Shark and Gator Kabobs??? But it gets better – from the state known for pulled pork BBQ and “Pig Pickins” comes Pig Butts on a Stick:


I didn’t actually see a pig butt on a stick….I was too afraid to see what they actually looked like. If anyone has Photoshop skillz, feel free to send in what you think they would look like (I imagine Porky Pig’s rump on a stick).

Jonathan Coulton has released an amazing cover of Sir Mix-a-lot’s Baby Got Back. Hearing an average white guy crooning lines like “my home boys tried to warn me” is flat-out hilarious.

While there, make sure you check out W’s Duty also and grab some of his other music he’s got available for free download – I highly recommend Ikea, and Mandelbrot Set (among others).
