I don’t know what the heck this is but half the time when I type the word “for” on my Windows XP computer it beeps at me. Does anyone have ANY idea what could be causing this? Anyone? Please? It’s driving me crazy!

Not sure why you get a beep, but if you click START> RUN and type “net stop beep” you can turn off the system beep. PROTIP: Open notepad and save the text: “net stop beep” as “StopBeep.bat.” Move StopBeep.bat to your Start Menu\Programs\Startup folder and you will never hear “system beeps” again. (Stupid system beeps).
